The most beautiful bar in the world. Atlas Gin Bar Singapore

One of the highlights of our recent tour to Singapore was discovering the Atlas Bar. I had heard and read about it before we went but it is truly one of the most beautiful man made things I have ever seen. To match the beauty, it has some fantastic food and drinks and splendid service to match the decor. The bar is located on the ground floor of an art-deco building that seems to be carved from solid granite. It is around 15 years old and the attention to detail is obscene. It is a three storey high space that has a cool courtyard in front with some amazing outdoor space with crazy sculptures. It was so good we visited it three times during our stay (it was two blocks from our hotel). I will let the photos do the talking.

Gin Martini with a touch of Champagne vinegar. Amazing

A Negroni. Note the hand chiseled ice cube slightly bigger than a golf ball (attention to detail)

The building. Parkview Square with solid granite facade (the locals call it the Batman building)
A small selection of specials. They have a whole book of Gins to choose from
The reception
One of the two bars in the space
One of the huge sculptures in the forecourt

wow wow wow
Main bar with Gin vertical conveyor belt above
Bar and two storey conveyor belt
Huge artwork. The finishes and attention to detail are amazing

  1. Looks amazing. My bar benchmark is a dirty martini – will try one there next time I’m in Singapore and let you know how they go!
